I was just charged a late payment fee even though I submitted the payment online on the due date. What can I do to get this refunded?

-- Some issuers require you to submit online payments at least one or two days in advance of the payment due date. Call or write and complain and ask for the fee to be refunded. Unless you have a history of paying late the card issuer will generally issue a courtesy refund.
