Professionals in the payment card industry will be descending on Atlanta and Paris next week. The two biggest business events for card executives, BAI’s “Retail Delivery Conference & Expo 2002” in Atlanta and the “Cartes 2002” in Paris, will get underway on November 5th. The events will draw more than 20,000 attendees and 700 exhibitors combined. The BAI agenda features more than 45 sessions and workshops. Keynote speakers include Kenneth Lewis, CEO, Bank of America, Jack Welch, former Chairman & CEO, General Electric Corp., former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, and Sir George Mathewson, Chairman, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. This is the seventeenth year for the “Cartes” Exposition which draws more than 5,000 international visitors and 8,000 attendees from France.
