MasterCard will make a contribution to the Stand Up To Cancer charity each time its U.S. cardholders charge at least $10 when dining out or ordering in.Fill your tummy this summer and automatically make a stand to fight cancer.

This summer, through 9/15/14 MasterCard will make a contribution to the Stand Up To Cancer charity each time its U.S. cardholders charge at least $10 when dining out or ordering in.

In addition, cardholders have the opportunity to book a a once-in-a-lifetime sit-down dining experience in New York City or attend a large stand-up dinner party in Los Angeles.

Here is the Scoop:

“Priceless Table” in Times Square: High above the city streets, diners can enjoy a world class prix fixe dining menu – prepared by celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson – while looking out over the neon lights of Broadway. Through August 2nd, 2014, MasterCard cardholders will have the opportunity to book a reservation at MasterCard’s “Priceless Table” in Times Square – which elevates diners to a seating area suspended above Times Square. Pop-Up Dinner: In an effort to continue driving awareness and getting people together for a good cause cardholders will have the opportunity to attend an exclusive pop-up dinner in L.A. MasterCard and Stand Up to Cancer, together with Chef Ludo Lefebvre, will host a 450 person Stand Up Dinner Party at The Grove in Los Angeles on August 7, 2014.

MasterCard will make a donation to Stand Up To Cancer at the rate of one cent for each $10 and more in dining charged to a MasterCard, up to a total of $4 million. The $.01 applies to qualifying restaurant purchases made with a U.S. MasterCard. PIN and international transactions ineligible, so make sure you use your MasterCard debit card as a credit card.

 Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) raises funds to accelerate the pace of research to get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives now. SU2C, a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, was established in 2008 by film and media leaders who utilize the industry’s resources to engage the public in supporting a new, collaborative model of cancer research, and to increase awareness about progress being made in the fight against the disease. As SU2C’s scientific partner, the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and a Scientific Advisory Committee led by Nobel Laureate Phillip A.
