Holiday Inn Card

The ‘Priority Club Worldwide Platinum VISA’ card was unveiled Thursday in a partnership between Holiday Hospitality, VISA and First USA. The new cobranded VISA card enables cardholders to earn points towards free stays any Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express hotels, as well as airline miles and brand-name merchandise. The program offers a bonus 5,000 point award for the first use of the card and one ‘Priority Point’ for each purchase dollar made thereafter. Card pricing is: no-annual-fee, 5.9% six- month intro rate, and a 14.99% fixed long-term rate. The new program has significant potential as Holiday Hospitality already has five million participants in its ‘Priority Club’ program and serves 50% of U.S. business travelers annually at its 2,400 properties worldwide.

Holiday Hospitality today unveiled the Priority Club Worldwide Platinum Visa card, which allows Cardmembers to earn points toward free stays at Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Express hotels, as well as airline miles and brand-name merchandise. The no-annual-fee card, issued by First USA, is the first initiative of Holiday Hospitality’s new strategic marketing alliance with Visa U.S.A.

Cardmembers collect one Priority Club point for each dollar of purchases made on the card, as well as 5,000 Priority Club bonus points after they use the card for the first time. In addition to free hotel stays, Cardmembers can redeem Priority Club points for air travel and brand-name merchandise. For example, 7,500 Priority Club points can be redeemed for a free hotel night at a Holiday Inn Express hotel.

New Cardmembers who apply for the card via a special toll-free number (800-451-2491, PRIORITY CODE: HHC) will receive an additional 2,500 Priority Club bonus points. Applications for the card also are available at Holiday Hospitality hotels.

The Priority Club Worldwide Platinum Visa card features a 5.9% introductory interest rate for six months, followed by a competitive 14.99% fixed rate; a credit line, from $5,000 to $100,000; a money-saving balance-transfer option; and 24-hour, toll-free customer service support. The card is also available in a classic design.

More than five million people are currently saving towards free hotel stays, air travel and brand-name merchandise in Holiday Hospitality’s Priority Club program. Holiday Hospitality serves more than 150 million people and 50 percent of U.S. business travelers annually at its 2,400 properties worldwide.
