Continental Biz Card

As most of the nation’s airlines have launched business card versions of their respective co-branded credit cards, another airline has taken off with a business rewards version. Chase and Continental Airlines have teamed to roll-out the “Continental Business Credit Card from Chase.” Cardholders earn one “OnePass” mile for every dollar spent, double miles on all Continental Airlines tickets purchased directly from Continental, and up to 11 miles for every dollar spent at over 8,000 participating I-Dine restaurants nationwide. All earned miles are applied to the employee’s individual “OnePass” frequent flyer account, and there is no limit to the amount of miles an employee can earn, nor do the points expire. The card carries a $75 annual fee for the first card and $20 annual fee for each additional card. There is a six-month into APR of 6.99% for purchase and balance transfers. The go-to interest rate varies between prime +8.99% to prime +14.99%. Chase Manhattan teamed with Continental Airlines in 1999 to offer the ‘Chase/Continental MasterCard Banking Card’ which offers one air mile for each $2 charged. The Chase/Continental debit card carries a $30 annual fee and offers bonus miles upon sign-up and additional bonus miles each year upon renewal of the card. In 2000, Chase introduced ‘Gold’ and ‘Platinum’ versions of their “Continental MasterCard” debit cards. The Platinum version of the debit card offers one air mile for each dollar of debit card purchases. For more information on the new business card: “”
