This holiday season you can make your prepaid gift cards super cool by designing them yourself. Wal-Mart and First National Bank of Omaha are now offering gift card purchasers the option of uploading their favorite photos to create an exclusive, personalized card.

First National’s new “smartOne VISA Gift Card” is available in any dollar amount from $25 to $750. First National is charging a $5.95 service fee for standard designs and $8.95 for personalized cards. The issuer also offers an extensive selection of pre-designed gift cards in six categories. Wal-Mart’s new personalized gift card carries an $0.88 fee for the service. Customers can go online to create personalized gift cards.
