A prepaid card for teens has emerged that enables parents to load funds and set up parental controls over spending. The new “Allow Card Prepaid MasterCard,” when linked to a special Web site, offers over 35 parental controls, allowing parents to set parameters for their teens spending. The site even allows parents to lock out specific merchant categories, so teens can’t spend money at undesired locations. The Web site also features a variety of constantly-updated online financial lessons for youth. Detroit-based Allow Card of America is marketing the card which is issued by First Bank & Trust of Brookings, South Dakota. The “Allow Card” is available online at “www.AllowCard.com”:http://www.AllowCard.com and can be used everywhere MasterCard debit is accepted. Nearly 25,000 Allow Cards will be in circulation by the end of this year.
