The Barclaycard NFL Extra Points Credit Card is boosting Indianapolis Colts kicker and four-time Super Bowl champion Adam Vinatieri to head to Houston to set a new Guinness World Records title at the NFL Extra Points Charity Kick taking place on Friday, Feb. 3, at 4 p.m. at NFL Experience.
To set the new record, Vinatieri will need to kick at least 20 NFL footballs from 20 yards through a regulation NFL goalpost in 60 seconds. If successful, Barclaycard will award 1.5 million NFL Extra Points (equivalent to $15,000) to the Pat Tillman Foundation.
The Pat Tillman Foundation is the namesake of the former NFL player who put his NFL career on hold to serve in the military following 9/11. Following Tillman’s death in April 2004 while serving with the 75th Ranger Regiment in Afghanistan, his friends and family created the Foundation to honor his legacy of leadership and service. The Foundation invests in military veterans and their spouses through academic scholarships, building a diverse community of leaders committed to serving others.
