New England credit union credit cards offer strongly competitive rates and fees, compared to the nation’s largest issuers. However, many credit unions offer credit cards as agents of big banks, such as U.S. Bank.
Perhaps the biggest differentiator is summed up by Maine Savings FCU who lists among their credit card benefits: “if you have a problem or question, you call Maine Savings, not some company who-knows-where.”
