This is an Internet-based program that offers exclusive savings, services and information via a website customized for each participating business. First USA began testing the ‘e-Perks’ program last month and has now taken it mainstream. The ‘e-Perks’ program includes an ‘e-Perks Platinum VISA’ card for business owners and a special VISA card for consumer/employees. Through ‘e-Perks’, employers can access a custom designed site offering finance, news, free e-mail, travel, health and fitness, shopping, discounts, and other business tools and information. The ‘e-Perks’ program is offered at no cost to the company or its employees. First USA’s ‘e-Perks Platinum VISA’ for consumers offers a 3.9% intro rate on purchases and balance transfers for the first six billing cycles. The go-to APR is a fixed 9.49%. The business version of ‘e-Perks Platinum VISA’ offers a 9.99% fixed APR without an intro APR.
