The couple, originally from Morecambe, Lancashire, are parents to James, 19, Emily, 18, Lucy, 17, twins Sophie and Megan, 15, Daniel, 12, Olivia, 11, Ella, eight, and Nathan, seven.
And they became grandparents last year after Emily welcomed baby Harrison into the world in July.
The family have enjoyed holidays to destinations including Prague and New York.
And Rebecca even managed to bag a trip to Disneyland Paris for just ?400.
Revealing her travel secrets, the mum – from Loanhead, Midlothian – said she can spend “hours and hours” on Sky Skanner and Google Flights looking for destinations, and will always try consider Eurocamps first.
She said: “I put in ‘from: United Kingdom’ and ‘to: anywhere’. Then I see what the cheapest flights are coming in at and I try to tie that in with a camp site. I spend hours and days checking where we can go cheap.”
And her perseverance definitely pays off, as Rebecca added: “We managed to get to the south of France for like ?700.
“We couldn’t fly from Edinburgh because it’s so expensive but we got cheap flights down to London and then London to Nice, and then the caravan for the whole week at easter.
“We’ve also been to New York, and that was around ?3,000 for the whole family. We got an Airbnb in New Jersey and got a bus pass back and forward.
“And we went to Disneyland Paris and I got the whole thing for like ?400. That was four nights, bed and breakfast, park tickets, and at one of the actual hotels.
“You’ve just got to take advantage of cheap flights, go out of term time, and remember certain days are cheaper to fly on.
When they are away, Rebecca and Jamie are also very strict with their budget to keep the holiday affordable.
She said: “My motto is, you don’t need to go on holiday to shop. Just go, get away. So you don’t need loads of spending money.
“We set a budget for food shopping and don’t buy lots of things while we’re away. We try and keep it really cheap.
“You get families who say they’re not taking their kids away because they say it’s too expensive. But it doesn’t have to be, it’s so affordable.”
